Each coat starts as a vintage canvas chore coat that has already done its work: faded, softened, sound at the seams. We add one piece of handwoven Andean frazada and one patch of sashiko stitching. The rest stays as it was: the fades, the buttons, the corduroy collar. Useful, vintage and handmade in one coat.

We source a sound chore coat in your size, then rework it by hand: frazada, sashiko, a brass plate with its number, a typed tag with its measurements. Four to eight weeks.

Now and then a coat is ready to go: one of one, one size, measurements listed. Ships in 2 to 3 days.

Care

Wear it hard.
Wash it gently.

Every coat's care is tested and typed on its tag. Frazada is wool: cold water, gentle, line dry, or spot clean where the tag says so.
Never the dryer. Heat shrinks wool and thread before canvas.
If the stitching ever needs work, send it back and we'll mend it.
